Was recently reminded of this night. It was a billion degrees a few summers back in Toronto. We played at the Toronto Institute for the Enjoyment of Music, which is run by a wonderful couple, our pals Howie and Ana. The front room holds about 30 people. Toward the end of the night we moved it out to the street so the folks looking in from the sidewalk could be a part of it. I don’t even remember there being a camera around, so kudos to whoever shot this for sinking into the documentation of the moment rather than cannibalizing it. That’s a real skill. Have to say, despite spending endless nights away from home on tour, experiences like these sure do make life grand.
