// THE SEARCH FOR BERLIN // 11.15.2013

Jesse Zubot and I have been working the most insane hours I’ve ever worked on any project in my life. After weeks of 8-12 hour days in the studio, we just pulled four consecutive 14+ hour days to try and pull things together for Berlin. We leave today and will record the orchestra there. Then it’s final mix, then 5.1 mix.

All this, of course, for a new Simon Pegg film called “Hector And The Search For Happiness” based on the Francois Lelord novel.

Once back in vancouver in December, the band and I will hole up for a week rehearsing before diving into recording our next album.

Can’t wait to share some of this new music. I’m going to try and chronicle the recording sessions a bit on the site here.
